The Ecuadorian Oswaldo Cercado, is an artist with spotless formation. Drawer and painter, usually finishes his paintings on an unusual speed, many times without needing a sketch. His work of all the times produces a spell on those that fall in love with his nocturne paints, or his cold afternoons tinged in cold colors. As portrait artist, he has a special characteristic that distinguishes him.
Watercolorist Alejandro Urrutia was, in the 60´s and 70´s, the spoiled boy of the arts. Belonging to a very special creative circle, leaded by Zipacná de León, found his own way by using the stain, as base to create encrypted images. From this same school, but much younger, come Lauro Salas who, also watercolorist, goes in the path of the landscape and the search of postmodern languages.
Edín Morales, Víctor Hugo Valenzuela and Jorge Félix, are artists hard to find in the art galleries. The three of them have maintained an important presence since the 80´s and they share their taste for similar techniques -watercolor, oleo and pastel - with which they recreate either abstract visions, based on superposition of “elmarians” colors, or when they are more figurative -mainly the first two-, characters in solitary or grupales over dark backgrounds. Other artists that expose their art with us are Erwin Guillermo, Valenz and Doniel Espinoza.
The list of our artists is extensive. Although, the intention is that you can come closer and take a look of our visual art’s products as well as the other devices -always related to the most refined design - among those we can mention antique and contemporary furniture, Persian and oriental carpets of wool. Diversity is our motto.
